The objective of organizing the celebration of Rabindra Jayanti was to commemorate the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, a prominent figure in Indian literature, music, and art. Also his contributions to Bengali literature, his philosophical ideas, and his role in India’s cultural renaissance are remarkable .
Celebrating Rabindra Jayanti in our school has been a wonderful way to honor the life and contributions of Rabindranath Tagore. The programme involved various cultural programs such as singing his songs, reciting his poetry, and conducting art exhibitions showcasing his legacy. The students wonderfully presented his timeless best known works. It’ was a wonderful time for junior students to learn about Tagore’s rich cultural heritage and his impact on literature, music, and art as well.
The progamme began with recitation by a student of class 1 which was carried on by dance performances by the students. The students of our school presented songs and recited his Poems as well. Teachers also displayed performances and showcased their talent by honouring our Kobiguru.
Outcome: The event served as an opportunity to educate students, about Tagore’s life, works, and ideals, fostering appreciation for his rich cultural legacy.

It is a supervised program for children right from Nursery to XII. It’s a 10days program conducted inside the school campus during the summer vacation. Summer camp offers a wide variety of specialized activities by trained professionals. The activities include cricket, football, basketball, Table tennis, Karate, Archery, Music, Skating, and amusements for tiny tots. The Prime focus of the Summer Camp is to build leadership, participative, athletic & cultural development, which facilitates children to learn new skills in a safe and nurturing environment.

Winter carnival is celebrated before the day of winter vacation in December to give ultimate thrust to Christmas Eve and welcome New Year. Christmas celebrations and New Year around the corner give a flavor of festivity. The entire ground buzzes with various activities, fun and frolic take over everything. A variety of games and mouth-smacking good stalls are amongst the attractive arrangements of Christmas Eve followed by the performance of a colorful program, singing, dancing, drama, DJ-like pomp, and show.

Like Yoga Day has been celebrated across the world,  our school RAMA too celebrated this day. Students performed several yogas as “ yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action, restraint and fulfillment, harmony between man and nature a holistic approach to health and well being”.

We celebrated this auspicious day in RAMA. Mrs. Shilpa Gupta, a scientific officer from MP Birla Planetarium, Kolkata, was invited for an interactive session on the topic “super moon” with our students. She said, “Instead of clothes for a  change, ask your parents to buy you a pair of binoculars for this puja and look up at the night sky in your own way”, and this motivated our students immensely.

Students of RAMA organized this beautiful event through an Extempore competition where they focused on the need of spreading awareness about the environment and the need to conserve it. As it is essential to advocate for a greener environment and the conservation of nature. Their beautiful way of placing the topic in front of judges made them achieve the first position in the competition.

*Successful Educational Tour to “ VICTORIA MEMORIAL HALL”We have successfully completed the Educational Excursion to Victoria Memorial Hall on 20thDecember 2022.Students have really enjoyed the trip and have gathered alot of experiences.

*Successful Educational Tour to BIRLA PLANETARIUM*We have successfully completed the Educational Excursion to Birla planetarium with much fun and frolic on 16th December 2022. Students have really enjoyed the trip and have gathered alot of experiences.

We have successfully completed the Educational Excursion to Alipore Zoo with much fun and frolic on 14th December 2022. Both the students and guardians have really enjoyed the trip and have gathered alot of experiences.

Successful Educational Tour TAKI We have successfully completed the educational Excursion to Taki with much fun and frolic on 9th December 2022. The students have really enjoyed the trip and have gathered alot of experiences.

Our school have been chosen among all the 57 schools for participating in this quiz competition, our children did extremely well and they were selected in the preliminary round for qualifying the next level, the event were held in HYATT REGENCY on 23rd of November 2022. The event was joyous and our children enjoyed it too.We are grateful for this wonderful opportunity.

“Whether the Words are Written or not, I always send you my blessings”. On this auspicious day we seek blessings from our mother so that we can overcome all obstacles that we might endure in life and we also prayed to her for the betterment of our children.

“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge and knowledge makes us great.” Rishi Aurobindo Memorial Academy has organized quiz competition in association with Times of India on 7th of November 2022. The competition was conducted among the students of class VII to XII.The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the quiz to the fullest, It was a unique way of creating interest and love for reading books to gain knowledge.Thus, this type of competition enhances eagerness among students.

“ competition is easier to accept if you realise it is not an act of oppression or abrasion” We organize various events at the school level in order to engage with young minds and develop an enhanced learning experience. One such activity is a quiz competition.A fun and effective way to ensurethat kids actively participate to attain maximum knowledge.

Rishi Aurobindo Memorial Academy (RAMA) has been educating children of the society irrespective of class, caste, creed, and religion since last 30 years.

Apart from quality education we have been rendered services to the society with generocity and affection, we have always been socially commitment in term of spreading awareness like organizing rallys on COVID-19, Dengue, Plastic banning, and Water-Air pollution, campaign on Doctor’s Day and other health issue. Recently a conceptualized event was conducted named ‘Aao Milke Khile’ among parents and students to promote bondage, friendship love, brotherhood & harmony.

For 2023 session a new concept has been undertaken to support Girl child education by reducing the Tuition fees 50% and admission charges 5000/- on 5th December, 2022, the day of Maha Samadhi of Sri Aurobindo.

Measles & Rubella vaccination camp organized by our school Rishi Aurobindo Memorial Academy on the 9th of January.

The camp was conducted peacefully by municipal staffs followed by our parents and students who cooperated with them hassle free and the day was made successful by the entire school authority and teachers.

Observing the 160th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. As it was National Holiday yesterday 12th January 2023 so, we decided to observe one of this important day on 13th of January 2023 with all our dear students, the day started with mass meditation followed by the organ of Sri Maa ( Mira Alfassa) the day was peaceful and serene.

A career counseling session from Brainware University commenced yesterday 20th of January 2023 in our school Rishi Aurobindo Memorial Academy our students were really thankful for this session.
